The incarnation of Lord Vishnu as "Matsya Avatar" On Kartik Purnima
Kartik Purnima is also the "Janmadin of Matsya Avatar" which means the birthday of "Matsya Avatar" which means God Vishnu's incarnation in the form of Fish. "Matsya" means fish, Matsya Avatar was one of the 10 avatars of Lord Vishnu means incarnations of the Lord Vishnu. In this Matsya appearance, Lord Vishnu saved the World from a great flood. The Birthday of Lord Kartikeya the God of War and The Son of Lord Shiva On Kartik Purnima
Kartik Purnima is the "Jnmadin" or the birthday of Lord Kartikeya the God of war and the son of Lord Shiva and Devi Parvati. Lord Kartikeya also is known as Skanda, Kumara, Murugan, Subrahmanya, and many names. According to the legend, Murugan is married to two deities. The first one is Devasena also called Devayani or Deivanai, the daughter of Lord Indra and his second wife is Valli, the daughter of a tribal chief. The two wives of Lord Murugan, namely Devasena, and Valli refer to "Kriya Shakti and Ichha Shakti", meaning the Power of Action and the Power of Will respectively, while Lord Murugan represents "Gnyana Shakti" means the power of Wisdom. Lord Kartikeya an important deity in the Indian subcontinent since ancient times, Kartikeya is particularly popular and predominantly worshiped in South India, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia as Murugan.

Kartik Purnima is also famous for "Rasa - Lila of Lord Krishna and Radha with Gopikas". According to the "Bhagavata Purana" and "Gita Govinda", both are literature related to the Lord Vishnu describes "Rasa Lila" means aesthetics dance or act, which is a set of principles concerned with the nature and appreciation of beauty, where Lord Krishna dances with Radha and Her 'sakhis' means girlfriends of Mata Radha are also called "Gopies or Gopika Strees". Depend on the falls of 'Nakshatra' means stars one of the important heavenly bodies according to astrology and astrophysics, the festival has even more significance than the general "Kartika Purnima". If the 'Nakshatra' means a lunar mansion if it is Kritika Nakshatra and is then called 'Maha Kartik Purnima'. Chaturmas - The Sleeping Period of The Lord Vishnu Around Four Months
Kartik Purnima is closely related to Prabodhini Ekadashi which marks the end of Chaturmas, a four-month period when Vishnu is believed to be in a state of deep meditation, it's also called "Yoga Nidra", in general, we called the sleeping period of the Lord Vishnu around four months. The Lord Vishnu, who protects the Universe, rests on the Adi Shesha or the Shesha Naag. And the Shesha Naag is the seven-hooded serpent, which is always in the service of God Vishnu, during the Chaturmas underneath the 'Kshirasagara' means Cosmic Ocean. Kartik Snana - A Ritual Bath
Generally in Kartik Masa, throughout the month a ritual bath takes place early in the morning around 5:30 AM, understanding that good for health and after the bath devotees will go to the temple to do 'Bhajan and other Seva like 'Pooja' means a group prayer and worship the Gods and Goddesses.
"Kartik Snana" will take place on Kartik Purnima means a ritual bath at a "Tirtha Sthana" at a sacred water body like a river, Tirtha Kunda, Sometimes, a lake also depends upon its sacredness and purity. Devotees visit some pilgrim centers to take Kartik Snana on Kartik Purnima. A holy bath at Pushkar or in the Ganga river, and wherever the river Ganga flows is considered as most auspicious on Kartik Purnima. A ritual bath in the Ganga river at Varanasi is considered as the most sacred Kartik Snana of Kartik Purnima or sometimes the whole Kartik Masa. Not only in river Ganga, other rivers like the Yamuna, Godavari, Saraswati, Narmada, Sindhu, and Kaveri also devotees visit according to their convenience to take a ritual bath on Kartik Purnima.
