The Himalayan Mountain Range spread across the northeastern portion of India and cover approximately 2,400 km and pass through the nations of India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, China, Bhutan and Nepal. Not surprisingly, the Himalayan Mountain Range is the most well known of the major Mountain Ranges in India. The Himalayan Range is made up of three parallel ranges often referred to as the Greater Himalayas, the Lesser Himalayas, and the Outer Himalayas or Sivalik Hills.

The Himalayan Mountain Ranges are where two religions people—Hinduism and Buddhism meet. In some part of the Himalaya Mountain Muslims are also stay.
