Ashtavinayaka Darshan means, a pilgrimage to the 8 Ganesha temples in Maharashtra state. The ancient eight holy places of Lord Ganesha is called Ashtavinayaka Yatra. These eight temples are situated in Ahmednagar, Raigad and Pune district of Maharashtra State, India.

Lord Ganesha is the son of Mata Parvati Devi generally called "Manasa Putra of Mata" and "Vighna Harta", destroyer of obstacles in our life. He is blessed by Lord Shiva as "Vighna Harta" and declared as Ganapati means "Leader of all Devagana".
